Duck Race launch

The 2009 Rotaract $100,000 Duck Race is ready to launch with a special kick off, Wednesday, April 29. Following the launch, tickets will be going on sale Friday, May 1 at the Prairie Mall. For the month of May tickets will also be available at Superstore and IGA Southside on weekends.

There are 23 great prizes in this year's race including a chance at $100,000 with the lucky duck.

2009 - Rotaract Duck Race

The Grande Prairie Rotaract Club is seeking non-profit groups in Grande Prairie and the larger region who would like to be partners in the 2009 $100,000 Rotaract Duck Race.The Duck Race is one of Grande Prairie's longest-running fundraisers, now in its 18th year.

In its long history it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities and non-profit agencies in Grande Prairie. Rotaract is seeking partner groups who will assist in the operation of the race. We are seeking groups which are willing to provide reliable volunteers who will be needed both during the week day and weekend starting in May and running until the end of July, 2009.

To apply to be a part of this event please e-mail a short description of your group, volunteer base, activities in Grande Prairie and the region and how you might use any funds generated by the race.

Please e-mail your information to: info@grandeprairierotaract.org. We ask any interested groups to please respond by the end of the day, Monday, Dec. 15.

Lost / Void / Stolen Tickets

The following is a list of tickets that were NOT included in the Duck Race Draw held Sunday, September 21^st.

These are tickets that were stolen from ticket sale locations, lost by individuals, or voided when the purchaser ripped out the ticket stub with their ticket.

 Anyone with these tickets can contact the Grande Prairie Rotaract Club for a refund of the purchase price.
